Back to Rotary Club of Placencia
Annually, the Rotary Club of Placencia distributes dictionaries to Standard 3 students in schools in Southern Stann Creek.
For 2020 we will distribute 400 dictionaries in Placencia, Seine Bight, Monkey River, Santa Cruz, Maya Mopan, Santa Rosa, Red Bank, Cow Pen, San Roman and Independence. The cost is BZ $1,080.
We partnered with Believe in Belize to assist with collecting international donations to cover the cost of the dictionaries. Thanks to the generosity of the Rotary Club of Potomac-Bethesda, we received a donation of USD $540.
