It is hard to believe that the end of 2023 marked six years since the launch of Believe in Belize in January 1st, 2018. From that day we operated as an all-volunteer nonprofit organization with one core value – we focused on little actions that created large impacts for Belizeans and their communities. To our donors, volunteers, and partners, who believed in us when we first started and those who joined us along the way, “Thank You!” for helping us complete over 25 projects and services. |
For 2024 we will continue our commitment to our core value and grow the organization to achieve even larger impacts. To do this: - We expanded the board with diverse members in the US & Belize who have long histories of serving others. They will provide strategic direction, oversight, and ensure our day-to-day operations proceed as planned and committed. - We organized Believe in Belize into Causes within four fundamental Pillars; Education, Health, Community and Environment. This will enable us to:
- Imagine a better Belize through causes that promote learning, wellness, engagement, and culture.
- Unite volunteers, partners, and donors around causes they are passionate about.
- Achieve success by clearly identifying our beneficiaries, demonstrating how our causes impact them, and providing transparency to our donors for their continued support.
- Add new causes based on what people and organizations are passionate about.
