Lynn has a bachelor’s degree from Rowan University and was recognized in 2011 for the prestigious, Teacher of the Year Award. She was a member of the Dupree Performing Arts Studio for 5 years and led for 11 years the People-to-People Student Ambassador program. This program was nationwide and provided a platform for Lynn to offer public speaking classes facilitated through the People-to-People Program at the University of Columbia.
Lynn was a dedicated art teacher for thirty years in New Jersey and retired in 2011 as Teacher of the Year in a middle school of 1,300 students and 50 staff members. During those years she helped run the school's TV station, direct the talent show and facilitate the mural club to decorate the walls of the school.
In Belize Lynn holds art classes for adults to learn and enjoy the beauty of making something of their own. She also helped orchestrate the Placencia Playhouse, Monday night Murder Mysteries, and pub trivia, which is still ongoing. She also enjoys helping with the Seine Bight Library and helped found the Seine Bight Sisters.
Lynn is the mother of two daughters who are singers/performers and master of ceremonies when they had an entertainment group.
Along with her husband Eugene, she was an owner of an open-air restaurant and bar for seven years which hosted the local Rotary club for meetings as well as feeding crowds of missionaries, medical students and police cadets. They are becoming Belizean citizens and are here for life. Their moto is Giving is Living.
