Antonio Novelo

Antonio Novelo was born in downtown Orange Walk Town, Belize, in 1960.  He worked in farm work in the sugar cane fields in the late 70s until late 80s, before entering into the tour guiding business.   He was a tourism pioneer in northern Belize and is familiar with all the tourist destinations countrywide.  Antonio has taken groups to all the major Maya archaeological sites in the Maya world and is currently working as a guide to these sites. He has a vast knowledge of the flora and fauna found in the area.   Antonio is of proud Yucatec Maya descent and has many great stories to tell about his ancestors.
